G3 - feat Glenn Cunningham

(Thursday Band)

One of the busiest and finest session singers in the country, Glenn Cunningham steps out of the studio to bring his brand of Soul-infused, Pop, Blues and R'n'B to G3. A familiar face to Marble Bar from bands like Soul Nights, Glenn returns to do it G style. Joined by Bass heavyweight, Adm Ventoura and Warren Trout bringing home the funk on Drums, this trio brings you everything that's good for the heart and for the feet... Glenn Cunningham of Thursday night band, ‘G3’ has made it through the blind audition stage of Channel 9’s The Voice to join Delta Goodrem’s team in the next phase. Click here to see how he inspired her to turn her chair during his audition, as he sang a rendition of ‘Lately’ by Stevie Wonder.

The Suspects

(Thursday Band)

Picture four of Sydney’s most accomplished musicians - Carmen Smith (Vox), Richie Vez (Bass/Vox), Michael Dolce (Guitar) and Michael Barbara (Keys) - and their smokin’ mastery of tunes by Terence Trent D’arby, Chaka Khan, Prince, Joe Cocker, Blondie, the Divinyls amongst others. Having between them supported names such as Diesel, Richard Clapton, Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian, The Suspects know how to swagger from one fat beat to the next, steering from the improvisational back to the funk-d-fied tunes that you know and will love again. Fait accompli. Carmen Smith of Marble’s Bar’s resident Thursday night band, ‘The Suspects’ has made it through the blind audition stage of Channel 9’s The Voice to join Joel Madden’s team in the next phase. Carmen inspired all four judges to turn around during her audition. Click here to see how she amazed the judges with her rendition of 'How Come You Don't Call Me' by Alicia Keys.

BROWN SUGAR

(Friday Band)

BrowN SuGaR consists of six members which includes Lady Lyric & Miguel George on vocals, Michael Dolce on Guitar, Byron Luiters on Bass and Deni Di Filippo on Percussion. We use several keyboardists including Darryl Beaton, Jonathan 'JC' Corea and Nik Pringadi.

Brown Sugar plays all styles of music but were predominantly an R&B/Soul band. Brown Sugar were nominated for an Urban Music Award in 2006 and have featured on Channel 10 news, the Four Weddings TV show, NITV, Hip Hop TV and we have played for several big name after parties including John Legend and were the main act on P&O's end of year cruise.

With a weekly Friday residency at the Marble Bar in the Sydney Hilton Hotel, Brown Sugar are taking their brand of hip hop soul into the live arena and bringing together those who appreciate R&B and Soul covers with a twist! Powerhouse vocalists Lady Lyric and Miguel George fuse their unique and sexy personalities on stage to hold the audience captive well after the last song has played. If sounds like Stevie wonder, Lauryn Hill, Beyonce, Maxwell and D'Angelo with a live twist turns you on, get a dose of Brown Sugar - you won't be disappointed!

The Flash 54

(Saturday Band)

Think flavours of the 80's and disco balls melded with slamming new house tracks. Fronted by one of Australia's leading ladies, Miss Melinda Jackson, this band tears through tunes and gets the dance floor jumping. Melinda has worked alongside some of Australia's biggest names, had international success with dance releases, hit ARIA charts and worked stages all over the globe. Teaming up with musical heavyweights, Chris Kamzelas on guitar (Jessica Mauboy, Tina Arena, Lionel Ritchie, Chris Issac) and Johnathan 'Jaycee' Corea on keys/sax and vocals, this band creates a party like no other.
